The Utell planner is a key tool for hoteliers to help them plan, budget and be aware of the hundreds of sales and marketing opportunities that are available to hoteliers who are members of Utell.
It has three main areas:
- The searchable list of sales and marketing opportunities. If a hotelier is interested in targeting American Express Agencies, gain last minute business or learn about the free educational webinars and training sessions, they have all this information at their fingertips.
- The Corporate Bid area. This is for hoteliers to build up a wish list of corporations that they have not already been invited to participate in the RFP, together with all the relevant information. The Utell global sales team will use this information to help position the hotel to give it the best opportunity to be invited into the RFP.
- Corporate update area – this will have a weekly update of how the RFP process is progressing, giving a list of the RFPs a hotel has been invited to join, where they are in the process together with appropriate deadlines. This helps give an overview of what is happening during this important process to all members of the hotel team without having to log into Lanyon.
This tool aims to help each and every hotel get the maximum out of their Utell membership and help target and drive business into their hotel.
